Southern Cross will use the HAM National Championships, to be held at Gold Coast (men) and Adelaide (women) in September/October 2026, for the purposes of selecting representative teams for 2027.

NOTE 1: The SX Selectors primarily utilise the national championships as a selection event, although attendance is not a mandatory requirement. Alternative selection processes may also be employed.

NOTE 2: Nominations Deadline is 11.00pm, 31st August, 2026 (AEST). Nominations for this Event lodged AFTER the deadline WILL BE considered by the Selection Committee Chair, on a case by case basis.

World Masters Hockey (WMH) have not announced the locations and dates for the 2027 European Cup and the Spirit of Masters (in which SX competes) but it's "likely" to be held in July/August 2027. As in past events, there will be more than one location due to the number of teams involved.
