The opportunity for a hockey-focused tour (has turned into reality) to tour Oxford (UK) & The Hague (Netherlands) in June, 2024. From 16th to 30th June, 2024 inclusive (bump out of hotel 1st July).

The LX Club (an English-wide O60s+ hockey club) has invited Southern Cross (SX) to play in matches in Oxford (UK), before moving across to The Hague, at the invitation of the HC Klein Zwitserland Club, which is celebrating a Club 50th anniversary with a Hockey Festival for non-national teams of masters-aged hockey players.

The HC Klein Zwitserland Club is the location where SX teams competed in the World Cup in 2014 and were housed in Delft at the time.  

The tour wll cater for O60s, 65s, 70s, 75s & 80s on both the Canterbury leg of the tour and at the Hague. The competition In The Hague would be equal in quality to a Spirit of Masters competition.  Invitations are being issued to many European contacts, so it is expected that a large number of non-national teams will participate.
